민주노총, '삼성 노조활동 보장' 촉구 노동자대회
(서울=연합뉴스) 황철환 기자 = 전국민주노동조합총연맹(이하 민주노총)은 20일 오후 서울 서초구 삼성전자 사옥 앞에서 조합원 5천여명(경찰추산 2천300여명)이 참가한 가운데 '고(故) 염호석 열사 정신계승 전국노동자대회'를 개최했다.
민주노총은 "삼성전자서비스 노동자들은 그동안 최저임금에 유류, 통신비 지원도 없이 근근이 생계를 유지해 왔다"면서 "삼성전자서비스지회와 민주노총은 삼성이 무노조 경영을 포기하고 민주노조를 인정할 때까지 투쟁을 멈추지 않을 것"이라고 주장했다.
삼성전자서비스지회 부산양산센터 분회장이었던 염씨는 지난달 17일 강원도 모 연수원 공터에서 '저 하나로 인해 지회의 승리를 기원합니다'란 내용의 유서를 남기고 스스로 목숨을 끊었다.
삼성전자서비스지회는 염 분회장의 명예회복, 폐업 근절을 통한 고용안정, 노조활동 보장, 생활임금 보장 등을 요구하며 삼성전자 서초사옥 앞에서 33일째 농성중이다.
